Loadlok acquires Roland International from Sioen Industries

Roland International, producer of finished curtains and tarpaulins for international goods transport with production in Poland, a central sales office in the Netherlands and a sales office in the UK, is acquired by Loadlok, Europe’s specialist provider of cargo control systems. Loadlok operates sales offices in 7 European countries and 2 production units in the UK.

Strategique initiated the transaction and arranged collectively with its Belgian Globalscope partner the acquaintance between the Belgian stock listed seller Sioen Industries, the target Roland International and its client Loadlok. With support of the Polish Globalscope partner the production facilities in Konin and local financing were assessed. Strategique developed collectively with Loadlok management the business plan for Roland International and guided the negotiations, resulting in the Heads of Agreement between the holding company of Loadlok and Sioen Industries.

Since 2007 Strategique performed several engagements for Loadlok and its shareholders, including the acquisition of Loadlok in a leveraged Buy In.
