About Us

As an owner-operated corporate finance & strategy consultancy firm, Strategique provides support to businesses and enterprises from the shareholder value perspective. We have operational business experience and understand the objectives of our clients. Strategique was started in 1985 by Frank van Goethem as Investment Management & Consulting Group. We nurture our knowledge and experience, build up in the 28 years of Strategique’s / IMCG’s existence. This is well documented in the Strategique toolkit, our training manuals and a multitude of cases, both from external academics and real client situations. In our approach and communication the Pyramid principle, issue analysis and early formulation of hypotheses are used extensively.

The unique combination of management consulting and corporate finance services appeals to a very divers mix of clients. We work for a large number of multinationals, medium-sized companies, investors and private equity firms both in the Netherlands and abroad. Around 20% of the top 100 companies in the Netherlands can be counted as our clients. More than 50% of our transaction and engagements are crossborder or with an international focus and we are member of Globalscope, a most active international network of independent Corporate Finance boutiques and advisory firms in more than 25 countries. For certain specific industries as life sciences we exploit the knowledge of experts from our Globalscope partners in joint engagements.
